Habitat Series showcases pieces of silk which Fabienne Hess has unravelled by hand until they barely hold together as single pieces of fabric. On the silk, Hess has printed images of fragments: detritus photographed on the streets in Hackney, London, uncategorised objects from the Goldsmiths Textile Collection, and images recovered from the latent memories of her hard drive. The exhibition is held at the office of muf architecture/art and is visible from the pavement, during the day as well as at night.
