For the ninth Ambit exhibition, award-winning London-based graphic designer Sarah Boris exhibited a selection of her works in the umlaut space and organized a round table with different design practitioners from the London design scene. Artists, creatives, students, teachers and printers were invited to contribute to Boris’s personal study on graphic design. How are the tools of a graphic designer best used? And where do designers get their inspiration? Sarah Boris’s research is still ongoing but her precise and clear style could be recognized in the posters and product designs that decorated the space.
