Arlette Ess’s installation transformed the space into an immersive environment of geometric forms covered in intricate organic textures inspired by Astrakhan fur, giving the usually white walls a tangibility and an almost organic atmosphere. A tension between simple flat shapes and the unstable beauty of detail in nature emerged, mirroring modern discrepancies between 'simple' Newtonian physics and perpetual states of possibility offered by quantum theory.
