The Most Beautiful Swiss Books selection 2015 was presented by designer Mathias Clottu and the installation was created collaboratively with London-based architects Nicholas Lobo Brennan and Astrid Smitham. The Most Beautiful Swiss Books competition was established in 1943 to promote and reward the finest book design in Switzerland, at the behest of the famous typographer and designer Jan Tschichold. The Swiss Federal Office of Culture organises the annual competition. It recognises excellence in the field of book design and production, as well as drawing attention to the array of remarkable and contemporary books by Swiss designers, printers and publishers.
